Choice Hotels International has signed an agreement with Sand Hospitality to develop the new 110-room Cambria hotel in Rock Hill, South Carolina, US.                                                           

Sand Hospitality is a hotel and commercial real estate owner and developer, with more than two twelve properties open across nine states.

The new hotel, which is designed to offer visitors a new and approachable upscale lodging option, is scheduled to be opened in 2019.

Located at the corner of Stewart Avenue and W White Street, the hotel will feature a spacious rooftop pool and bar, fitness centre and 1,000ft² of multi-function meeting space.

In addition to contemporary on-site dining, featuring a menu comprised of area specialties, signature cocktails, and local craft beers, the hotel will also offer freshly prepared grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches.

Choice Hotels upscale brands development vice-president Mark Shalala said: "As one of the fastest growing regions in the country, we're thrilled to continue our expansion in the Carolinas. In addition to Rock Hill, there are several Cambria hotels coming soon to the area, including in Asheville, Fort Mill, Mount Pleasant, North Charleston and West Ashley.

The new Cambria Hotel Rock Hill will be a cornerstone of the University Centre Knowledge Park, a large, mixed-use development, which will include restaurant and retail space.
