Courtyard by Marriott has opened a new hotel in Erie, in the US state of Pennsylvania under White Lodging Services management.
The new Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Erie County Convention Center Authority.
This 192-room hotel offers business lobby environment with media pods, complimentary Wi-Fi and a variety of seating zones.
The hotel’s lobby also houses The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect that offers casual, flexible seating and serves healthy menu options for breakfast.
Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront general manager said Stacy Tupek: "The Courtyard Erie Bayfront’s amenities such as the outdoor infinity pool, the Shoreline Bar and Grille, and modern rooms with spectacular views, will provide another beautiful destination for all of our guests traveling for business or leisure.
"Together with our complex of hotels and the Bayfront Convention Center, Erie becomes a premier destination for Erie’s local community and regional conferences and conventions."
The hotel’s rooms allow guests to store bags on the ‘Luggage Drop’ and plug personal devices into the ‘Tech Drop’ ledge.
Few rooms in the hotel feature waterfront balconies with floor to ceiling windows, and all rooms offer signature furniture and architectural elements replacing traditional art in the new guestroom.
The Shoreline Bar and Grille is a cocktail bar and eatery in the hotel with 100 indoor and outdoor seats. It serves regional ingredients, craft cocktails and locally sourced beers.
Additionally, the business library at the hotel has several computer terminals, along with a printer and separate computer stations for printing airline boarding passes and checking flight status.
