Canada’s full-service hotel Crowne Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo Hotel and Conference Centre is integrating LeoNovus’ SMART Media Platform and distributed cloud services as part of its renovation plans.
Located in the heart of downtown Kitchener and Canada’s Technology Triangle, the 201-room hotel features more than 17,000ft² of conference and meeting space, and is extending its upscale accommodations and service, in addition to upgrading technology.
The hospitality product of LeoNovus delivers a complete suite of in-room information systems that provides interactive services, such as in-room dining, promotional advertising and real-time guest services information.
LeoNovus’ SMART Media Platform is integrated with a full browser that provides easy access to email and social network site Facebook.
Crowne Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo general manager Yari Khan said: "The LeoNovus Hospitality Platform allows us to connect better with our guests and improve services both in the guest room and on property.
"In addition, being one of the best conference centres in this area allows us to leverage our network to better support conference and group programs, including communication across hotel and personal devices, digital signage and online video conferencing to name a few."
LeoNovus CEO Gordon Campbell said: "Our hospitality product uses LeoNovus’ proprietary distributed processing technologies to optimise an internal network for the purposes of adding new revenue streams from cloud data services, while supporting new applications and services for the future.
"The LeoNovus Network is integrated into the hotel’s Property Management System to add immediate and future services that will, in turn, help create guest loyalty and brand value for the property."
