DoubleTree by Hilton has added its tenth hotel location in the Washington DC/Baltimore area, the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC-Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland, US.
Under a franchise agreement with Hilton Worldwide’s subsidiary, the 248-room property is owned by Milestone Hotel Partners and managed by Milestone Hospitality Management.
The hotel, which offers a selection of newly redesigned guestrooms and 52 suites, is undergoing a multi-phase renovation of its guestrooms, dining outlets, public areas and meeting space, with a collection of modern design service and product enhancements.
The property will feature a fitness centre, an indoor heated swimming pool, high-speed internet access, 32in LCD televisions in guestrooms and MP3-compatible alarm clocks. The hotel also offers a Wolfgang Puck gourmet in-room coffee and tea service and Crabtree & Evelyn Citron bath and body products.
DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC-Silver Spring incorporates more than 20,000ft2 of meeting space, with three separate ballrooms that can accommodate up to 700 guests for conferences and social events.
DoubleTree by Hilton global head Rob Palleschi said that the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC-Silver Spring is an addition to the brand portfolio of more than 280 locations.
Milestone also owns and manages the dual-branded Homewood Suites by Hilton and Hampton Inn Silver Spring properties, which are located across from the newly converted DoubleTree by Hilton, which was formerly known as the Hilton Silver Spring.
