
Global hospitality firm Dusit International has entered into a management agreement with property developer Layana Development to operate a new hotel under its dusitD2 brand, in Phuket, Thailand.
Situated on the west coast of Phuket between Bang Tao and Kamala Beaches, the dusitD2 Phuket Aria hotel is spread across an area of 0.28 hectares of land.
Scheduled to open by 2020, the dusitD2 Phuket Aria will be equipped with around 210 rooms, a rooftop infinity pool and terrace, offering views of the Andaman Sea.
The hotel will also feature different category of rooms including studios, one-bedroom units, two-bedroom units and family suites.
Besides, the eight-storey hotel is currently being designed by Hong Kong and Thailand-based architecture company Original Vision.

Currently, the company operates five hotels under dusitD2 brand across Thailand, China, Kenya and the US.
In addition, 13 dusitD2 properties are in the pipeline and are slated to open in Bhutan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Oman, the Philippines, Qatar, and UAE.
Apart from dusitD2 brand, Dusit International operates an international portfolio of hotels that include Dusit Thani, Dusit Princess and Dusit Devarana.
