FelCor Lodging Trust has opened the new Knickerbocker Hotel in the heart of Times Square, New York City, US.
Located on the corner of 42nd Street and Broadway, the newly redeveloped 330-room hotel was designed by the architectural firm Gabellini Sheppard and is operated by hotel operator Highgate Hotels.

Amenities offered include a fitness centre, a 2,200ft² event space, upscale food and dining options, as well as a 7,500ft² rooftop bar and terrace.
FelCor Lodging Trust president and chief executive officer Richard Smith said: "We are thrilled about the opening of our flagship property.
"Our partnership with Highgate enabled us to use our joint expertise to redevelop this phenomenal property at a significant discount to replacement cost."

The Knickerbocker hotel is situated close to Madison Square Garden, Rockefeller Center, Broadway theatres and Bryant Park. It features customised layouts with 12ft ceilings, 8ft doors and 6ft windows.
