Fujita Kanko has opened its new resort Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu in Hakone, Japan.

The 150-room Ten-yu is an upscale onsen resort and offers modern convenience to its guests.

Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu’s rooms feature an open-air hot spring bath and the décor  combines Japanese aesthetics.

Most of the rooms can also accommodate additional guests.

The resort also offers other facilities such as a spa, a restaurant and bar/lounge and two large hot spring facilities.

Its guests will have access to other dining and leisure facilities such as Hakone Kowakien Yunessun amusement park and botanical garden Horaien Park.

Other dining and leisure facilities offered are Soba Kihinkan, a Japanese soba noodle restaurant and Teppanyaki Geihinkan, a Japanese steakhouse.

Hakone has been designated as a Japanese Geopark and also features various tourist attractions around the area, including many museums.

Established in 1955, Fujita Kanko has been into hospitality business for more than six decades and has been operating wedding and banquet facilities, high-end resorts, leisure facilities and related services.

It has 70 properties including its Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo as well as 31 mid-priced hotels throughout Japan in the Hotel Gracery and Washington Hotels groups.
