Hard Rock International has signed an agreement with Palace Resorts to transform Palace Resorts properties in the Mexican resorts of Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Maya into Hard Rock Hotels.
The first Hard Rock-rebranded hotel in Cancun is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2012, Puerto Vallarta in Q2 2012, followed by for the first-phase debut of Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Q3 2012.
The 601-room Hard Rock Cancun will feature five restaurants, five bars and lounges, a spa and meeting facilities including a 16,408ft² convention centre.
The 348-room Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta will offer four restaurants, four bars, a spa, two swimming pools and 6,300ft² of meeting facilities.
Hard Rock Riviera Maya will combine two adjacent Palace Resorts properties, the 489-room Aventura Cove Palace and the 777-room Aventura Spa Palace.
