Hilton Worldwide has expanded its Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand with the launch of the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem.
Located on the site of the former Palace Hotel, Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem is at a crossroads between the charms of the walled Old City and the modern bustle of Jerusalem.
Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem, which is located within walking distance of the walls of the Old City and the famous Jaffa Gate, represents the first internationally-branded luxury hotel in the city.
The hotel offers convenient access to upscale shopping centre Mamilla, and overlooks Independence Park.
Hilton Worldwide luxury brands global head John Vanderslice said, "An immensely fitting homage to this world-class heritage destination, the opening of Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem is a prestigious moment in the celebrated history of Waldorf Astoria."
The property features an atrium promenade with a retractable glass ceiling that offers natural light throughout the day.
