Hospitality group Hilton Worldwide has added SLS Las Vegas to its newest brand, Curio – A Collection by Hilton, a global collection of distinctive four to five star hotels.
SLS Las Vegas, owned by Stockbridge/SBE Holdings, is located on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip at the site of the former Sahara Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas. It recently opened following a three-year, $415m renovation.
The renovation saw the redevelopment of three distinct towers – Story, World and Lux with 1,613 guestrooms and suites; 30,000ft² of flexible meeting space; a collection of seven Fred Segal retail boutiques; and nearly 60,000ft of non-stop casino gaming, including a high limit room and sports book operated by William Hill.
It also offers more than 80,000ft² of indoor-outdoor event sites, including a 9,000ft² ballroom.
Additional amenities include shopping, spa and fitness facilities catering to all types of travellers.
Curio – A Collection by Hilton global head Dianna Vaughan said: "SLS Las Vegas is an exciting example of how Curio provides limitless opportunities for the ambitions of hotel owners and the expectations of their guests, backed up by the assurance the Hilton name provides and the benefits of our HHonors loyalty programme.
"SLS Las Vegas and The Highland Dallas, the first two hotels to join Curio, illustrate the range and diversity we are curating among these one-of-a-kind hotels that embody the fabric of their communities."
