Hilton Worldwide is set to launch a new Hilton Hotels & Resorts property at Salwa Beach in Qatar in collaboration with Qatar investors Al-Rayyan Hospitality.

Expected to be the largest beach resort in the Middle East, the property will be developed over 104 hectares of coastline in the south-west region of Qatar.

The Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas, Qatar, will house 246 deluxe rooms in the main building, including 35 suites, two of which will be 1,000+m² presidential suites.

Hilton Worldwide Middle East and Africa president Rudi Jagersbacher said that the property will be the biggest resort hotel of its kind in the region and an outstanding addition to the company’s expanding portfolio.

"Today’s signing reflects Hilton Worldwide’s famous pioneering spirit as we set a new benchmark in resort accommodation in Qatar and create a new destination for the Middle East," added Jagersbacher.

The 362-key Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas, Qatar, is to be the centerpiece of the resort’s grand plan, the company stated.

The hotel will also feature two family-villa villages – one with 32 one and two-bedroom suites featuring Arabic architecture and the second comprising 84 larger villas of up to five bedrooms.

Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas, Qatar will also offer a range of amenities including a 2,800m² health club and spa, outdoor pools, meeting and event function space of over 3,500m² and 13 restaurants, bars and lounges.
