Global hospitality company Hilton has opened its 100th hotel Hilton Quanzhou Riverside in Greater China.

The opening also marks the debut of Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Fujian province and the brand's 40th hotel in Greater China.

Located in Quanzhou, Fujian, Hilton Quanzhou Riverside includes 25 storeys with a total of 296 rooms, each spanning approximately 40m2. The hotel is owned by Quanzhou Quanshang Real Estate Co and managed by Hilton.

Hilton Asia Pacific brand management vice-president Sean Wooden said: "With the opening of our first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Fujian, we are delivering unparalleled hospitality to both leisure and business travellers.

The hotel is situated 8km from Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport, 12km from Quanzhou Railway Station and less than 10km from tourist destinations such as Kaiyuan Temple and Qingyuan Mountain.

The hotel features rooms, indoor pool with underwater sound system, steam rooms, a 24-hour fitness centre, meeting and banquet space, ballroom, a VIP room, a boardroom, two bridal rooms, seven meeting rooms and three food and beverage destinations.
