Chinese leisure company HK CTS Metropark Hotels has purchased all shares of UK-based Kew Green Hotels.
Kew Green owns 44 UK hotels with a total of 5,179 rooms and manages ten UK hotels owned by other parties.
HK CTS highlighted that senior management of Kew Green will remain unchanged because they are important for growth of the business in the UK and throughout Europe.
The ownership or operation of the iconic Grand Brighton hotel will not be affected with the deal and will continue to be managed by Kew Green.
The deal will help HK CTS have a national footprint with the franchised hotels that are spread across the country.
HK CTS Metropark Hotels chairman Jeremy XU Muhan said: "The purchase of Kew Green Hotels is a tremendous acquisition that provides us with a strategic growth platform within the UK and across Europe.
