Hilton’s mid-tier, all-suite hotel brand Home2 Suites has opened its first property in Kentucky, making it the 53rd property for the hotel chain.
Located at 126 East Lowry Lane, Kentucky, the hotel is three miles from downtown Lexington and is in proximity to several hospitals. The state also has the University of Kentucky.
The 103-room, pet-friendly hotel features an Oasis lobby, indoor saline pool and an outdoor patio for guests. It also features a laundry and fitness area named Spin2 Cycle, and Home2 MKT where guests can get grab-and-go items.
The hotel is owned by Cohen Realty and Vista Host and will be managed by the latter. Hilton highlighted the hotel is a part of the continuing trend of all suite accommodation hotels that are being developed in the area.
Hilton Home2 Suites and Homewood Suites global head Bill Duncan said: "The hotel’s connection to the Lexington Medical Center is a great example of the value Home2 Suites can bring to travellers staying at a hotel for an extended period of time.
"The location of the property is ideal given the easy access to downtown Lexington and the University of Kentucky. Guests can experience the rich culture the city has to offer."
