Hyatt Hotels has opened its first Hyatt brand hotel on the Japanese island of Okinawa, which is designed to provide Okinawan-style hospitality.

The hotel is located between Naha’s main street of Kokusai Dori and Tsuboya Yachimun Dori, which is known for its pottery workshops, and is a 20 minute drive from Naha Airport.

The 294-room hotel includes nine regency executive suites and 154 deluxe twin rooms, and features modern day amenities, including free wi-fi, a coffee maker and TV.

"The hotel features pottery and glassware inspired by Ryukyu culture and has colourways highlighted with vibrant hues of red and blue."

Guests staying at all Club Rooms and suites will gain access to the exclusive Regency Club lounge featuring an outdoor terrace.

The hotel also features four restaurants and bars, including Sakurazaka which serves local and international cuisines, MILANO | GRILL specialising in creative Italian and grilled cuisine, along with a bar and a lounge.

Hyatt Regency Naha features 882ft² of event space named The Regency, which can be partitioned into two separate spaces. Guests will have access to the fitness centre and swimming pool.
