Hyatt Hotels and Hotel Equities have announced the opening of a new hotel in downtown Savannah, Georgia, US.
The 81-room hotel is located two miles from Savannah Hilton Head International Airport and a short distance from historic downtown Savannah.
Features include 600ft² of flexible, function space to accommodate 40 people, 24/7 Gallery Menu serving made-to-order entrees and appetisers, a coffee to cocktails bar featuring specialty coffees and premium beers, as well as wines and cocktails; and free Wi-Fi.
Hotel Equities marketing and business development vice-president Joe Reardon said: "We are delighted to bring the Hyatt Place brand to the Savannah area with the opening of Hyatt Place Savannah Airport.
"Hyatt Place was designed for a lifestyle, not a demographic, and as a result, we are confident that everyone from business travellers to family vacationers will appreciate the open, intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food offerings."
Hyatt Place believes that hotel’s prime location also provides guests with easy access to a wide variety of other entertainment options, including the national Mighty Eight Air Force Museum, a movie complex with an IMAX theater and several indoor recreation centres.
"As a major port, distribution center and tourist destination, Savannah is growing and the Hyatt Place brand is a great fit for the area," Reardon added.
"Hotel Equities is excited to extend our portfolio on the Georgia coast and work with another great hotel ownership group. Hyatt Place brings together a perfect mix of style, service and amenities that will exceed the expectations of our guests."
Hyatt Place, a brand of Hyatt Hotels, offers more than 200 locations in the US, Armenia, China, Costa Rica, India, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Netherlands, and UAE.
