Hyatt Hotels has opened a new Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights hotel in Dubai, which is its fifth property in the city.
The 464-room hotel is near to the Dubai International Airport, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Wafi City, The Dubai Mall and Dubai Healthcare City metro station.
The group plans to open its sixth property Hyatt Place Dubai/Baniyas Square later this year.Each of the six properties is developed by wasl Asset Management subsidiary, wasl Hospitality.
Hyatt Hotels & Resorts South West Asia operations senior vice-president Pablo Graf said: "We are delighted to work with wasl Hospitality yet again to open the fifth hotel under a Hyatt brand in Dubai, the definitive tourism and corporate travel destination of the Middle East.
"Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights represents an evolution of the Hyatt Regency brand, with energising interiors and amenities that put everything at business and leisure guests’ fingertips, so it’s easy to stay connected to the people and things that matter most."
With two high-rise towers, the property includes a lobby with 1,000m² and more than 3,200ft² of plant walls, flowers and greenery.
The new hotel comprises 76 luxury suites, including two Royal Suites. All suites offer access to the exclusive Regency Club lounge on the 32nd floor, providing views of the Dubai creek.
Hyatt’s new property includes 3,200m² or 10,500ft² of conferencing facilities, comprising 13 meeting suites and two interchangeable ballrooms for different events such as weddings, conferences or meetings.
The hotel also features an outdoor pool and eight spa treatment rooms, including two couple suites, in addition to NYSA Spa, featuring the Water Temple, traditional male and female gymnasiums and workout studios.
In addition, the property includes buffet-style restaurant Sufra, Pool Bar and 24-hour in-room dining service.
