Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened Hyatt Regency in Chandigarh, a city in northern part of India.
Located 246km from India’s capital of Delhi, Hyatt Regency Chandigarh is the first Hyatt-branded hotel to open in Chandigarh.
Hyatt India vice president of operations Kurt Straub said: "We are delighted to welcome the first Hyatt-branded hotel to the beautifully planned city of Chandigarh.
"Hyatt Regency Chandigarh has been thoughtfully designed to make guests feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed, so that they can socialize, connect and celebrate any occasion.
"I am confident that this contemporary new hotel will add to the appeal of Le Corbusier’s charming city and introduce Hyatt’s well-known hospitality to guests and residents."
Hyatt Regency Chandigarh is central to the city’s business hub and is part of a premium development that includes the Elante Mall and an office complex that houses multi-national companies and diplomatic missions.
