Hyatt has announced the opening of Hyatt Place Bloomington/Normal, the brand’s first Hyatt Place in Normal, Illinois.
The 114-room hotel is located on Broadway Avenue and is close to Illinois State University (ISU) art gallery, Normal Theater, Children’s Discovery Museum and several famous restaurants.
Hyatt highlighted the hotel has the brand’s intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities.
Guests can get free Wi-Fi, a complimentary breakfast and will be able to enjoy Hyatt grand bed and cozy corner sectional sofa.
It also features 2,400ft² of flexible, high-tech meeting/function space, a coffee to cocktails bar that features special coffees and premium beers, as well as wines and cocktails. Guests can also use the hotel’s 24-hour gym.
Hyatt general manager Rodney Brittain said: "The Hyatt Place brand was designed for a lifestyle, not a demographic, and as a result, we are confident that everyone from business travellers to students will appreciate the open, intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food and beverage availability."
