InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the opening of a new Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel in Tremblant, Canada, just in time for the 2015 ski season.

Located in the heart of the Tremblant Pedestrian Village, the owner is currently investing $3.2m in the 141-room property. It is near to multiple ski-lifts, restaurants and shops.

Managed by Intrawest and franchised by an affiliate of IHG, the four-storey Tremblant hotel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, outdoor whirlpool bath, fitness room, sauna and complimentary high-speed internet access.

IHG includes 14 properties in Quebec province with the opening of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tremblant hotel. It is also developing two more properties in the province.

It has a portfolio of nine hotel brands and franchises, leases, manages or owns around 4,700 hotels and has 697,000 guest rooms in approximately 100 countries, with almost 1,200 hotels in its development pipeline.
