InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened Staybridge Suites Puebla hotel, the company’s sixth property in Puebla, Mexico, and the first Staybridge Suites hotel in the city.

The new eight-storey, 129-suite property is the result of a Hotel Royal Plaza investment of more than $12m.

IHG Mexico, Latin America and Caribbean distribution and commercial marketing vice-president Gerardo Murray said: "The hotel’s convenient location just minutes from the FINSA Industrial Park will attract extended stay travellers, making it an ideal choice for guests who are away from home for weeks, or months, at a time."
