InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is set to open a new property, Hotel Indigo Rome – St George, in Italy this month.
The hotel, which is surrounded by renaissance buildings and boutique shops, is located on the Via Giulia in Rome.
The hotel’s 64 bedrooms feature Italian art, modern mosaic design and custom-made furniture.
Hotel Indigo Rome is located close to local attractions such as Campo de Fiori, Trastevere, Navona Square and the Vatican City.
The hotel offers amenities such as a spa that includes a Roman bath, the Sofà di Via Giulia restaurant which offers Italian cuisine, and a roof-top bar and restaurant, which offers views of St Peter’s Dome.
Additionally, the hotel’s rooms, standard, executive and executive suites are equipped with free Wi-Fi, docking stations, bathrobes and slippers, and Egyptian cotton linen.

IHG Europe upscale and luxury brands brand management vice president Tom Rowntree said that the property is the first Hotel Indigo to open in Italy, and there are a further 15 in the pipeline in Europe.
"Rome is an important location for the brand; we are committed to opening in stylish and dynamic neighbourhoods and the surroundings of Hotel Indigo Rome – St George are exactly that," Rowntree added.
Hotel Indigo Rome – St. George will be operated with Hotel Invest Italiana, under a franchise agreement.
IHG operates in around 100 countries with a family of nine brands.
