JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts has opened the34-storey JW Marriott Austin, which is the largest in Texas, US.

Marriott says the new property is the largest JW Marriott in North America and the second-largest across the globe.

Designed to host large conventions and meetings, The JW Marriott Austin includes around 112,000ft² of event space, 42 meeting rooms and 1,012 guest rooms, as well as three presidential suites, three hospitality suites and 24 executive suites.

The property features three restaurants, including Osteria Pronto, Corner and Burger Bar, as well as pool deck and bar on the fifth-floor.

Osteria Pronto is a regional Italian restaurant, which offers dishes such as burrata campagna, paglia e fieno and bistecca fiorentina, while Corner features Texas-inspired cuisine and Tequila cocktails, and Burger Bar on Congress Avenue offers flat-top burgers, french fries and shakes.

In addition, the hotel includes modern fitness centre, 24-hour full-service business centre and offers high-speed internet access and 24-hour room service.

JW Marriott Austin is near to major attractions such as Austin Convention Centre, Texas State Capitol Ann & Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail on Lady Bird Lake.
