Luxury hotel chain JW Marriott has opened its redesigned hotel in Washington, DC.
According to JW Marriott, it redesigned the Host Hotels & Resorts-owned property, which has 750 rooms, corridors and an executive lounge to match the JW Marriott brand design ethos and aesthetic.
The hotel features 37,000ft² of meeting space and a luxury banquet, which also includes a 14,000ft² Grand Ballroom.
It also features a 7,000ft² terrace on the 12th floor along with 29 meeting rooms.
The company said the designs of guest rooms were inspired by the customised nature of a beautifully tailored suit, replete with a calming colour palate consisting of pearl grey, chocolate and charcoal along with small accents of pink and chrome reminiscent.
JW Marriott also installed energy-efficient A/C units and LED light bulbs to reduce energy consumption.
