Kempinski Hotels is set to open Marsa Malaz Kempinski resort in Doha, Qatar, on 1 December.

Marsa Malaz Kempinski is the European luxury hotel company’s second property in Qatar and seventh in the Gulf region.

According to Kempinski, the city-resort is located on its own secluded island at the Pearl-Qatar, and is the ultra-luxury hotel in Doha.

It has 281 luxurious rooms and suites and meeting-conference facilities, comprising a grand ballroom with 1,100m².

The resort also features an exclusive beach located in a private bay, as well as outdoor swimming pools, water sports facilities, the 3,000m² spa by Clarins.

Marsa Malaz Kempinski is located near the Hamad International Airport, as well as closer to multiple entertainment and shopping options at the Porto Arabia and Medina Centrale districts of The Pearl-Qatar.

The group plans to launch two more hotels in the Middle East in the new year.

Currently, Kempinski manages 74 five-star hotels in 31 countries, and is adding new properties in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
