Southern California’s iconic La Quinta Resort & Club is set to undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation that is expected to be completed by late 2014.
The resort, located about 20 miles south-east of Palm Springs, California, will receive room upgrades as well as improvements to its 41 pools and gardens.
In addition, the property’s villas, main lobby and public spaces will be redesigned, and its 45 acres of grounds will be augmented with plants such as bougainvilleas, roses and citrus trees.
Post-renovation, luxury amenities will include 42in to 47in flat-screen HD televisions, mini refrigerators, Keurig coffee makers, charging stations with dual USB ports, and upgraded fireplaces.
La Quinta Resort & Club features 620 casitas and suites and 98 villas, a 23,000ft² Spa La Quinta, 53 hot spas, and 23 tennis courts.
Dining options include Morgan’s in the desert, TWENTY6, Adobe Grill, and Ernie’s at PGA WEST.
