Loews Hotels & Co, a wholly owned subsidiary of Loews Corporation, and KC Hotel Developers have entered into a partnership to build Loews Kansas City Convention Center Hotel.
The construction of this new hotel is expected to begin later this year and is slated for completion in early 2020.
Loews Hotels is a joint equity partner in this venture.

The Loews Kansas City Convention Center Hotel will feature 800 guestrooms, a lobby bar, restaurants, indoor pool and 60,000ft2 of meeting and event space.

The hotel is located close to some of the key attractions in the city including Kansas City Power & Light District, Sprint Center, KC Streetcar and the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
The construction of the Loews Kansas City Convention Center Hotel is expected to create nearly 2,000 employment opportunities in Kansas City, including 1,400 construction jobs and more than 500 permanent jobs.
