Marriott International’s lifestyle brand AC Hotels by Marriott has opened the new 812-room Bella Sky Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, which is the brand’s first in the country.

Under a franchise agreement, BC Hospitality Group will operate the new AC Hotel Bella Sky Copenhagen.

Located near to the Copenhagen city centre, the property is a fusion of sharp angled glass design with modern Scandinavian furnishings and style.

The new property features spacious guestrooms, ranging from standard rooms to suites. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the hotel, including the guest rooms, while floor-to-ceiling windows enable infiltration of natural light.

Bella Sky Hotel also features aqua spa, offering a water-inspired journey from hot and cold pools, rain showers, steam baths and ice fountains, as well as heat beds that encourage blood circulation and well being.

In addition, the hotel includes Balcony Restaurant serving Nordic Classics and Grills, while the Sky Bar serves cocktails and Nordic tapas.

In addition, the property features extensive conference areas, including 48 meeting rooms with latest IT and AV equipment, and has direct access to Bella Centre, claimed to be Scandinavia’s largest conference centre that can accommodate around 30,000 delegates.

AC Hotels was originally founded by Spanish hotelier Antonio Catalan in 1998, and a joint venture was formed with Marriott International in 2011, establishing AC Hotels by Marriott within the firm’s global portfolio.

Marriott International’s brands portfolio includes The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, EDITION, JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, the Autograph Collection, Renaissance Hotels, AC Hotels by Marriott and Moxy Hotels.
