American hospitality group Marriott International has unveiled its first AC Hotels by Marriott property in Paris.

The 149-room AC Hotel Paris Porte Maillot joins two existing AC Hotels by Marriott properties in France – AC Hotel Ambassadeur Antibes-Juan les Pins and AC Hotel Nice in the south of France.

The hotel, targeted at both business and leisure travellers, is situated at Porte Maillot, which is in close proximity to the Palais des Congrès.

The hotel features a modern fitness centre with views of the Eiffel Tower.

AC Hotels by Marriott was launched in 2011 as a joint venture between Marriott International and Spanish hotelier Antonio Catalán.

The brand’s current portfolio consists of more than 70 hotels in Spain, Italy, Portugal and France, plus a pipeline of more than 30 hotels set to open within the next three years throughout the US and Latin America.
