Marriott International has entered an agreement with Ali Bin Sultan & Brothers Group Holding to develop two new properties in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
The properties being developed under the deal include Al Khobar Marriott Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments Al Khobar.
Planned for completion in 2018, Al Khobar Marriott Hotel will include a total of 200 rooms, while Marriott Executive Apartments will comprise 80 units.
Marriott International Middle East and Africa president Alex Kyriakidis said: "Growing domestic demand and a strong corporate sector within the oil and gas industry are all fuelling development of Al Khobar’s hotel industry in Saudi Arabia.
"The city’s exquisite tourist spots, entertainment centres and widespread beaches have all made it a favoured spot for both local tourists and the inbound business community."
Under a long-term agreement with Ali Bin Sultan & Brothers, Marriott will manage both properties.

By GlobalDataBeing located at the intersection of King Fahd and Prince Salman Roads, the properties will be near to the city’s two largest shopping malls and King Fahd International Airport, as well as King Fahd Causeway, a 26km road bridge connecting Saudi Arabia with Bahrain.
