The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts has announced the completion of a multi-million dollar renovation of Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis, US.
The hotel is included in marquee hotel conversions and landmark renovations the Luxury Collection brand has undertaken. The 136-room hotel has a layered look created by earth-toned textiles and rich fabrics used for the redesign.
For the interior, the brand hired the Gettys Group, which used mahogany wood furnishings with rich leather headboards that are ascended by metal hardware, bronze table lamps and midnight blue velvet armchairs.
The traditional lobby bar has been transformed and re-named Venetia, which features plush banquettes, communal tables and a backlit marble bar.
Hotel Ivy also introduced Monello restaurant featuring a blue and silver color palette with mixed metals, along with biblically-inspired cocktail bar Constantine.
It also has a 17,000ft² the Ivy Spa Club which features dedicated treatment rooms for massages, body treatments, facials and hydra-therapy. Guests and members will have access to the Ivy Fitness Club.
The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts global brand leader Hoyt H Harper II said: "The renovation of Hotel Ivy reinforces the brand’s commitment to invest in our landmark hotels and to grow our global portfolio in destinations that guests are clamouring to explore.
"Once reserved for business travellers, Minneapolis has become a ‘must’ for a new generation of luxury travellers and we are thrilled to offer an indigenous way to experience the city, as only the Luxury Collection can."
