Belgium-based Rezidor Hotel Group has opened its first hotel under the brand name of Park Inn by Radisson in Kigali, Rwanda.
Representing the group’s fifth hotel in East Africa, the new Park Inn by Radissonislocatedwithin 12km from the Kigali International Airport.

With 161 rooms, the 4-star hotel has also increased Rezidor Hotel Group’s African and Indian Ocean portfolio to 36 hotels and more than 16,600 rooms in operation and under development.
Rezidor Hotel Group Africa and Indian Ocean vice-president Marc Descrozaille said: “We are very pleased to continue the momentum in growing the brand’s African footprint and delighted to open our second Park Inn by Radisson hotel in East Africa this year, following the recent opening of Park Inn by Radisson Nairobi Westlands.
“We are excited about the positive feedback received from owners and customers on the Park Inn by Radisson brand in Africa, and look forward to growing our presence in the mid-scale hotel segment across Africa.”
The new Park Inn by Radisson Kigali includes a restaurant, known as Live-Inn, which offers the brand’s signature breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

The hotel’s four meeting rooms offer flexible seating accommodation, event space, complimentary Wi-Fi internet, and otherfacilities.
Various other facilities including a gymnasium, a swimming pool, sauna and steam room as well as a beauty salon and barber shop are also available at Park Inn by Radisson Kigali.
