
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is set to open its new 224-room property in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in mid-2015.
The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah will be operated by the company for the Ministry of Finance, which reinforces an existing partnership for the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh.
Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company president Herve Humler said: "The opening of the Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah is a much-anticipated milestone for us as it not only introduces our signature standards in this growing market, but also emphasises our commitment to the kingdom.
"This region is critical towards the achievement of our strategic goal of reaching 100 hotels globally and we are fortunate to have strong partners who share our vision."
Featuring 30 royal suites measuring 500m² each, the new property will accommodate visitors ranging from short-stay business guests to large wedding groups.

By GlobalDataThe hotel will also include four dining outlets and 63,356m² of meeting space, comprising a grand auditorium venue that can be used for major conferences and exhibitions.
Ritz-Carlton currently manages 88 hotels in the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean. The company is also involved in developing 30 hotel and residential projects worldwide.
