The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marriott International, has unveiled its first hotel in Israel, The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya.
Located in Tel Aviv’s water-front leisure destination Herzliya, the new hotel is said to represent the country’s first 21st century ‘Urban Resort’.
The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya features 115 rooms, 82 suites and residences with interiors based on the Mediterranean coastline and offering sweeping sea views.
According to Ritz-Carlton, the property also features a collection of artwork across the hotel centred on an original video-art piece by Ayal Landseman, commissioned for the lobby area.
The Ritz-Carlton president and chief operations officer Herve Humler said it is a privilege to bring the group’s service to Israel.
"The Ritz-Carlton service philosophy will be brought to life by a committed team of Israeli ladies and gentlemen at our 85th hotel," Humler added.

By GlobalDataIsraeli chef Yonathan Roshfeld created the kosher Samuel Herbert Restaurant at the hotel, which will use local produce to offer a better dining experience.
Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya provides amenities such as two new bars and lounges with a lobby lounge and rooftop al fresco cocktail lounge.
The property offers a fitness centre and rooftop pool offering a 360° view of the Mediterranean coast and the sandy beaches of Herzliya.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa features an outdoor terrace, couples treatment rooms and a Turkish Hammam, while offering a range of beauty and body therapies including Ritz-Carlton signature therapies and Shiseido treatments.
Business facilities offered at the hotel include a ballroom, which is located at the lobby level, and two boardrooms, all of which are said to be suitable for business meetings as well as gatherings.
