Samsung Electronics has partnered with French industrial group Legrand to develop a new hotel room management system.

The hotel management system will feature new user interfaces making it easier and comfortable for use by hotel guests.

The new solution will be built on Samsung’s LYNK hospitality management solution (HMS) and leverage the expertise of Legrand in electrical equipment.

It will allow hotel guests to manage their room’s light settings, temperature and opening of doors, right from their TV set.

In the future, the solution will have features to allow communication between hotel guests and services, such as concierges, taxi reservation, and audio-visual support.
