sbe, a hospitality company that develops, manages and operates international hospitality brands, has opened Mondrian Doha in Qatar and Mondrian Park Avenue in New York.

Both the locations opened on the same day.

sbe founder and CEO Sam Nazarian said: "Mondrian is a brand with international allure and we're thrilled to announce the openings in Doha and New York – two of the most dynamic and vibrant cities in the world.

Designed by Marcel Wanders, Mondrian Doha is sbe's first hotel in the Middle East. The hotel features 270 rooms, four restaurants serving both local and international cuisines, including Morimoto and CUT by Wolfgang Puck, as well as Magnolia Bakery.

Initially conceived as an SLS designed by Philippe Starck, Mondrian Park Avenue is situated in the heart of Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood.
