Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of its 85th hotel, in the northern port city of Tianjin, China.
The 302-room hotel caters to both business and leisure guests. It is in close proximity to the city’s central business district and Tianjin Railway Station.
It is fully integrated within Tianjin Kerry Centre and is the only five-star international hotel in the city connected to a shopping mall.
The hotel offers a 48m² Deluxe River View Room, 240m² Shangri-La Suite and 39 serviced apartments.
All guestrooms overlook the Haihe River, and the executive Horizon Club Lounge on Level 32 offers panoramic views of the city.
Within the hotel, there are several leisure and dining offerings. The Health Club offers a 24hr gym, indoor swimming pool, two outdoor tennis courts, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, plus Shangri-La’s CHI, The Spa.

Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts owns or manages more than 80 hotels under the Shangri-La brand.
The group has upcoming projects in mainland China, India, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Qatar, Sri Lanka and the UAE.
