Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced that it will be opening its new hotel in Haigang District of Qinhuangdao, China, on 8 May.
The hotel is located at Golden Dream Bay and is close to the railway station and high-speed links that connects Haigang District to Tianjin and Beijing.
Shangri-La Hotels’ newest address is a 23-storey glass building, which has been given golden tones to match surrounding areas of the hotel.
The hotel will feature 330 guest rooms and suites, which were provided with full-length windows measuring 45-135 square metres facing the seaside setting, and is designed in a way to ensure most rooms offer a balcony that overlooks Bohai Bay.
Shangri-La Hotels has a spacious Horizon Club Lounge on the 23rd floor, a restaurant, Cafe Qin that leads to the outdoor area of the hotel’s garden and Qin Xiang Ge Chinese restaurant with 15 private rooms.

The hotel features Lobby Lounge with a panoramic view of Bohai Bay where guests can enjoy live music entertainment, light dining and afternoon tea. It also includes a 25-metre indoor free-form pool, jacuzzi and spa, and features 1,658m² and nine metres high Grand Ballroom.
