Spain-based IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has revealed plans to open two new hotels in New York City and Miami, expanding its footprint into the US.

Located at 70 Park Avenue, at the centre of Manhattan, the New York hotel will be a 4-star boutique hotel featuring 205 rooms spread across 16 floors and is scheduled to be inaugurated on 15 June.

The central location of the hotel places it at the vicinity of the key tourist attractions including Times Square, Grand Central Station, and the headquarters of the United Nations, Bryant Park and the Flatiron District.

The hotel will be built inside an iconic stone and red brick building, which will feature a vintage design with a modern touch following a recent series of renovations.

The ground floor of the hotel will serve as a lobby and will feature an array of cuisine options such as Silverleaf Coffee & Tea and Silverleaf Tavern, a chic baroque-inspired lounge.

IBEROSTAR will open its second hotel, IBEROSTAR Berkeley, in the famous Art Deco district of South Beach, Miami, this December.

It will be built in a renovated 1940’s Art Deco building featuring 96 boutique rooms.
