Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide’s eco-wise Element brand has opened its first hotel in New Hampshire, US.

Located at the entrance of Altaria Business Park, Element Hanover-Lebanon is part of a new Norwich Partners-developed mixed-use complex that includes 300,000ft² of research and office space, 42,000ft² of retail space, as well as up to 160 residential condominiums and conservation land.

Managed by True North Hotel Group, the hotel has 120 stylish, sustainable rooms with fully equipped kitchens and the signature Heavenly Bed, and boasts light-filled studios featuring a fluid design of modular furniture, swivelling flat-screen televisions, large desks with open shelving and custom-designed closets.

The hotel’s bathrooms are spa-inspired, with a rain shower and dual-flush toilet.

"Element plans to double its global portfolio within from 15 to 30 hotels by the end of 2017."

Starwood Specialty Select Brands senior vice-president Brian McGuinness said: "Element Hanover-Lebanon provides a compelling, new option for travellers in an unbeatable location.

"On track to more than double its portfolio in the next two years, Element is resonating with travellers who share the brand’s passion for smart, sustainable living."
