Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced the opening of The St. Regis Chengdu hotel in Sichuan province in south-west China.

The St. Regis Chengdu is located at the intersection of Chengdu’s business and luxury retail districts, and is in close proximity to Tianfu Square and Chun Xi Road.

It features 279 guestrooms, suites, six distinct restaurants and lounges, including Social, a signature all-day dining restaurant; Yan Ting, a speciality Chinese restaurant featuring Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine; and Yun Fu, with four distinct private dining rooms on Level 27.

It also features Decanter, Chengdu’s only dedicated wine bar with an extensive selection of fine wine labels, liquors and aged cigars; Vantage XXVII, an outdoor sky bar; and The Drawing Room, offering the signature St. Regis afternoon tea and champagne sabering ritual.

The St. Regis Chengdu also provides 11,840ft² of meeting space; Iridium Spa, which includes nine treatment rooms, a sauna and steam rooms; and a modern fitness centre.
