Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will debut its eco-friendly Element brand in Syracuse, New York, with the opening of the Element Syracuse Inner Harbor in 2018 in the city’s revitalised Waterfront District.
Element Syracuse Inner Harbor will be located adjacent to Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor, which is set to open in 2015, and forms part of a substantial waterfront redevelopment project along the former Barge Canal.
Owned and developed by COR Development Company, the new property will be managed by Real Hospitality Group.
Element Syracuse Inner Harbor will feature 123 rooms and suites, a 24hr fitness centre, an outdoor pool and a 750ft² meeting room.
All of the rooms will have modular furniture, flat-screen televisions, large desks with open shelving and custom-designed closets, fully equipped kitchens, and the signature Heavenly Bed, with rain shower and dual-flush toilet in bathrooms.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide North America development senior vice president Allison Reid said: "Element is gaining traction throughout North America due to the enthusiastic response of travellers to the brand’s successful positioning and emphasis on clean, sustainable living."
