Starwood Hotels & Resorts has launched a new Luxury Collection property in Hangzhou as part of its plans to expand in China.

Located on the banks of the Qiantang River, the Azure Qiantang hotel features 205 rooms and suites.

Facilities include a swimming pool, 24hr fitness centre and a spa with seven treatment rooms and three massage rooms.

F&B options include the Lan Ting Chinese Restaurant, which features 14 private dining rooms, plus the Panorama Restaurant & Bar overlooking the Qiantang River, and the 22nd floor Riverview Terrace.

For meetings and celebrations, the Azure Qiantang offers seven function rooms, all with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a 650m² ballroom.

The Azure Qiantang becomes Starwood’s sixth Luxury Collection hotel in China.

Originated in 1906 under the CIGA brand, The Luxury Collection brand is present in more than 30 countries in major cities.
