Situated near Lake Como, the hotel is surrounded by the Alps Mountain and is close to major tourist attractions, including gardens, museums, churches and Lake Como shore.

The hotel is less than an hour drive from Milan Malpensa and the Milan Linate international airports, and is two kilometres away from the Como San Giovanni railway station.

Italian architect Ruggero Venelli renovated the 116-room hotel with natural materials to produce warm interior spaces. To promote local talent, the entire property is adorned with handcrafted furniture from acclaimed Italian designers.
