Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide is expanding the presence of its Sheraton brand with the signing of the Sheraton Samui Resort in Thailand.

The agreement with TCC Hotels Group marks the conversion of the existing 141-room Imperial Samui Beach Resort to a Sheraton branded property, which is expected to be complete by the end of this year. This will be the seventh property managed by Starwood under the ownership of TCC Hotels Group.

The resort will feauture the brand’s signature Shine Spa for Sheraton and will also include a well-equipped gym with the brand’s health and fitness programme, Sheraton Fitness by Core Performance.

In addition, the brand’s all-day dining concept Kids’ Club and Feast, will be featured alongside various dining venues including the beach and pool bars, Sky Light Lounge and Tara Restaurant.
