India-based Taj Group has opened its new 296-room Taj Dubai in the Burj Khalifa downtown area of Dubai, UAE.

The new property includes Taj club rooms, 16 junior suites and 15 luxury suites, offering views of Burj Khalifa, dancing fountains and Dubai Mall.

Taj Group public relations director Rakhee Lalvani said: "We are delighted to enhance the nobility of Indian heritage and hospitality in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.

Taj Dubai features two lavish suites, including a maharaja suite that is designed based on Rajasthani palaces and a presidential suite on the 35th floor with its own fitness suite and yoga room.

In addition, the hotel will also feature its exclusive members only private club that offers an array of benefits to customers, including private dining, bespoke conference and business facilities.

Taj’s new property includes Tesor that offers Peruvian themed cuisine and Kui’s al fresco setting, as well as Byzantium Lounge, an art-deco venue that provides light bites, afternoon tea and cocktails in the evening.

The property features an informal gastro-pub Eloquent Elephant and an Indian restaurant Bombay Brasserie, in addition to Jiva Spa, a pool deck and health centre.
