
TJM Properties, a Florida-based real estate and hospitality firm, has bolstered its hotel portfolio with the acquisition of the Crowne Plaza Syracuse, in Central New York.
The 276-room hotel will retain the Crowne Plaza flag as well as offer all the facilities and incentive programs of the Crowne Plaza brand.
This acquisition is the latest expansion for TJM and its fourth hotel in the northeast.
TJM Properties presently owns The Claridge Hotel and Atlantic Club in Atlantic City, New Jersey and The Radisson Philadelphia Northeast.
TJM Properties president Terence J McCarthy said: "We are delighted to add the prestigious Crowne Plaza brand to our portfolio and look forward to being a part of the dynamic economic expansion of the Central New York region.
TJM intends to add around three hotels per year to its growing portfolio.
With 12,243 square feet of conference space, The Crowne Plaza Syracuse can host up to 250 guests at a variety of meetings and special events.
TJM Properties is a privately held real estate firm owned and operated by Terence J. McCarthy of St. Petersburg, Florida.
The company owns hotels in Florida, Mississippi, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania under the Quality Inn, Baymont Inn, Howard Johnson, and Radisson brands.
