Westin Hotels & Resorts is planning to open its first property the Westin Daytona Beach Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach, Florida by the end of 2016.
The hotel, owned by Humphrey Realty, is undergoing a $20m renovation, which will include reconfiguration and re-facing of the exterior and redesigning the interior.
The hotel features 200 guest rooms, 500ft² of ocean front beach, an olympic-size outdoor pool, 25,000 ft² of indoor and outdoor meeting and function space, a 5,000 ft² spa, and two restaurants and bars.
The hotel will be in proximity to shops and restaurants on the Daytona Boardwalk and will be close to the Main Street amusement area and Peabody Auditorium, LPGA International Golf Course and Daytona Beach International Airport.
All guest rooms and suites will be equipped with Westin Heavenly Bed, Heavenly Shower, and will have in-room and high-speed internet access.
