Wyndham Hotel Group has signed a global agreement to migrate its central reservations systems to Sabre’s SynXis Central Reservations solution in a bid to deliver better solutions to franchisees.
According to Wyndham, the Days Inn Raleigh Downtown in Raleigh, North Carolina, is the first hotel in the US to participate under a successful pilot.
The new CRS services agreement will further leverage Sabre’s SynXis Enterprise Platform to power central reservations for all branded properties of Wyndham Hotel Group.
Wyndham Hotel Group president Geoff Ballotti said: "As one of the most important value propositions we can provide to our franchisees and owners, Wyndham is absolute in its commitment to deliver the best technology and revenue generation platforms to help our hotels grow their businesses."
By leveraging the complete Sabre SynXis Enterprise Platform, hotels within the Wyndham family will be able to manage their pricing and inventory and get access to various global distribution partners.
Scheduled to begin in late 2015, the process will see Wyndham migrating over an 18-24 month period more than 7,600 hotel properties that are operated under one of the group’s brands to the web-based SynXis CR.
