Wyndham Worldwide’s third quarter (Q3) 2011 revenues reached $1.2bn, a 14% increase on the figure for the same period last year.
Wyndham said the rise reflects revenue per available room (revPAR) growth of 6.3% in its hotel business and increased rental revenues.
Adjusted net income increased to $153m, a 22% increase on Q3 2010, while revenues for the lodging unit increased by 9% to $222m compared with the figure for the same period last year.
System-wide revPAR during the quarter rose by 6.3%, or 4.8% in constant currency, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of $67m was flat compared with the same period in 2010.
Wyndham’s hotel portfolio, as of 30 September 2011, consisted of 7,190 properties and 611,200 rooms, and its development pipeline contains 870 hotels and 115,000 rooms.
